Lead and Copper Rule
In compliance with the US Environmental Protection Agency’s requirements for lead and copper, the District has compiled an inventory of all service lines for West Slope customers. The inventory is hosted by the District’s consultants 120Water (a national leader in assisting water utilities with federal lead and copper requirement compliance) as a public-facing dashboard, and a link to that dashboard has been posted to the District’s website. What the dashboard will tell you is what kind of material your service line is made of both on the District’s side (from the water main to the water meter) and the customer’s side (from the water meter to the house). With the help of 120Water, the District was able to determine that 100% of the service lines in the District are non-lead. The District is committed to providing safe, clean, and reliable drinking water to all West Slope residents.
